We Come To You!

INSERVICES

We can come to your facility and provide CUSTOM INSERVICES that meet JCAHO requirements.  Inservices are designed to be specific to your institution and will include any forms and policies & procedures that are used in your facility (ie: facility specific heparin nomogram, TPN form, Adverse Drug Reaction form & policy, Drug-Nutrient interaction policy, and so on). The length of the inservice is as you request, with a minimum of 20 minutes. Education on off-shifts is also available.

CONTACT HOURS

We also offer CONTACT HOURS for nurses, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, dietitians, and dietetic technicians.
We come to your hospital, office, meeting facility, etc.  Groups can be departments in a larger facility, doctors' office, clinic, alumni association, professional association, or any group that would like to couple receiving contact hours with another meeting.

This service can be as much or as little as desired, from a one-time program, to an annual plan with regularly (ie: monthly, quarterly, etc.) scheduled programs.

You provide:

  • the space
  • the participants (please contact us for the minimum number of participants required to hold a program at your location)

We provide everything else:

  • the program handout
  • the pre-test
  • the post-test
  • the sign in sheet
  • the speaker
  • the Statement of Continuing Education Credit
  • the slide presentation

3 options for payment for this service:

  • The FACILITY/ORGANIZATION PAYS ONE FEE that includes all participants. This is a great way to show STAFF APPRECIATION for employees and/or for RECRUITING where non-employees can get free contact hours in exchange for visiting your facility and bringing a resume.

  • EACH PARTICIPANT PAYS their own way.  This is a great way to encourage compliance with continuing eduation requirements by providing programs at the end of their shift.  Employees have the convenience of continuing education for credit onsite at their place of employment.

  • A COMBINATION OF 1 AND 2 where each participant pays a small fee and the balance is supported by the organization.

Nurses: Continuing Nursing Education Contact Hours are applied for each program to NJSNA, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Pharmacists & Pharmacy Technicians: Comprehensive Continuing Education, LLC, is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).

Dietitians and Registered Dietetic Technicians: Comprehensive Continuing Education, LLC, has applied for accreditation by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
